There are twenty mysteries reflected upon in the Rosary, divided into the five Joyful Mysteries, the five Sorrowful Mysteries, the five Glorious Mysteries, and the five Luminous Mysteries. In the winter of 2010, a broken statue of the Virgin Mary was discovered next to a dumpster, destined for disposal. Rescued by a compassionate individual, the damaged statue was taken home for restoration.
